Academy prototype / PipeGuardianAcademy prototype / research direction

PipeGuardian is a system question, not a finished inspection robot.

Status: Academy prototype and research direction. The name organises existing Pipe Coding material; it does not certify performance, safety or readiness for real infrastructure.

Use the project as a case study and preserve the Academy prototype label.
OPENQUESTION
01 / Question02 / Understand03 / Build04 / Verify
Concept visual for the BIAA Pipe Coding research direction. It does not represent a deployed product or completed learner outcome.
01
BIAA / BRIEF

Proposed research brief

A constrained-space inspection system would need to enter safely, maintain awareness of position and condition, collect interpretable evidence, communicate status and support recovery when assumptions fail.

02
BIAA / SUBSYSTEMS

Questions for subsystem study

Learning investigations may examine traction or motion, sensor placement, lighting, signal loss, power budgeting, evidence quality, state transitions and manual recovery. Each should be tested independently before integration.

03
BIAA / EVIDENCE

Evidence required before stronger claims

Future claims would require repeatable tests in stated conditions, calibrated measurements, failure logs and independent review appropriate to the risk. None of those outcomes is assumed here.
