Every practical activity should identify tools, energy sources, moving parts, materials, data handling and the level of adult supervision required. Learners must know when to pause and ask.
Match tool access to demonstrated readiness
Progression is based on safe behaviour and understanding, not enthusiasm alone. High-energy systems, flight, cutting, soldering and autonomous movement require explicit operating zones and trained supervision.
Protect privacy and use AI with care
Projects should minimise personal data, avoid unnecessary biometric collection and make human review visible. Public sharing requires consent and removal of identifying details where appropriate.
Document concerns and improve the system
A complete operating policy should provide reporting routes, incident records, emergency contacts and review procedures. These details must reflect actual delivery arrangements before enrolment opens.
