A global competition map with a clear application boundary.
The directory groups public opportunities by region and keeps eligibility, deadlines, official entry points and result status visible. Listing an event does not imply BIAA participation, partnership, sponsorship or recommendation.
The directory is an external-resource map. Participation, fees, travel, safeguarding, intellectual property and awards remain governed by each organiser’s current rules.Five regions, one evidence model
The first release provides official starting points for Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area, Singapore, the United States and Europe. Dates and eligibility must be checked again for each cycle.
- 01Hong Kong — student science and technology competitions published by official education or government channels
- 02Greater Bay Area — university, city and regional competitions, separated from funding schemes
- 03Singapore — SSEF and related national STEM competitions
- 04United States — affiliated-fair routes and Regeneron ISEF rules/results
- 05Europe — EUCYS and national-contest nomination routes
A weekly collection loop keeps the directory honest
Once a week, editors check official calendars, notices, application portals and result pages, then record the checked date, changed fields, broken links and next review date. Award stories are separate records and never inferred from a project showcase.
- 01Discover and de-duplicate official sources
- 02Check the current cycle, time zone and eligibility
- 03Publish source, status and application route
- 04Archive expired records without rewriting history
- 05Add verified winning projects only from an official result page
Projects and awards need their own evidence
A competition entry may be a learning opportunity; a result is a separate claim. BIAA records the project title, official award wording, result date and source, while minimising personal data about minors.
